Inside the castle one can sense what it means to live in a place steeped in the history of many centuries. Thanks to a 1702 manuscript found in the historical, one reads that more than 50 people lived in the castle in addition to the Prince, the Princess and children. Of particular interest is the room named by the French as the smoking. In the olden days men did not smoke in front of the ladies. Hence, after dinner, men gatheread in this room smoke and talk amongest themselves. Both rooms are elegantly disployed with historic and family photographs, and have large fireplaces with big family coots of arms. There are many painting of ancestors, and antique frescos and manuscripts. In the “Somking room”, there are many reminders of hunting, given that the family awened a castle in Cyecosslovakia (tost during the war) where they oftem went hunting.
